Nutrient timing also applies when you are speaking to public. Food is fuel and even more so for your brain 😊.

Eat smart before speaking:
.
1. Have your meal at least bout 2 to 3 hours before to allow your body to digest the foods. ⏲️
2. Avoid Dairy as it will build up a phlegmatic disposition haha. So no cheese, milk, yoghurt and anything cream base. 🧀
3. I would put a pinch of sea salt in my water just to aid hydration with some minerals. No alcohol preferrably. Sound mind for a sound event 😉
4. I would have a higher protein and fat meal but remember a few hours before. I would recommend chamomile tea to aid the digestion process. For me I wouldn't take carbs cause it makes me sleepy but assess yourself. Each body is different 🙆♀️🍵

5. If you need a boost of energy, depending again on the event you are hosting and what time of the day I would put either MCT oil or coconut oil in my coffee or take it as is.

Some would prefer not to eat before presenting cause possibly the nerves get jittery and the tummy wouldnt be in the best environment to breakdown food.

All the same, listen to your body and feed it the right thing so you can perform on and off stage well. 😊
